Getting Started
-
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come in because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply want a better understanding of themselves. If you’re unsure, a consultation can be a good place to talk through what’s bringing you in.
-
After scheduling, you’ll receive the information you need to get started, including intake forms, payment details, and instructions for joining your appointment.
-
Not at all. You can come in with a clear goal, a general feeling that something needs to change, or no idea where to begin. Part of the process is figuring that out together.
-
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less notice, or missed without notice, incur a $100 fee.
-
You can request a consultation through the Contact page. Send a message and you’ll receive a follow-up with next steps.
-
Sessions are typically 50 minutes

FINDING THE RIGHT FIT
-
That’s okay. Therapy works best when you feel comfortable with the person you’re working with. You can use the consultation and early sessions to get a sense of whether the approach feels right for you.
-
There isn’t one set timeline. Some people come for a specific issue and stay for a shorter period, while others prefer ongoing support. You can revisit your goals and progress together as therapy continues.
-
Progress can look different for everyone. It may show up as better understanding of patterns, more confidence in decisions, improved relationships, less overwhelm, or feeling more able to handle difficult moments.
